It takes training and practice to know how to read a pet and to minimize anxiety. An anxious animal is harder to groom and harder to treat, so it is in the best interests of everyone that your pet is calm and happy. Our staff spends so much time accommodating different needs of each pet that we excel at creating the right environment that will sooth and support your pet. Calming scented oils fill the room that naturally calm and comfort. Our team sprays pheromones on their uniform that also are proven to create a sense of familiarity and bond to their groomer.
Your pet is bathed with the high quality shampoo and conditioners (most of them natural without harmful chemicals), then dried using driers (the quietest available) as robust or as gentle as necessary to keep your pet calm. Then the grooming process begins. Some pets take to grooming with enjoyment and calm while others may initially fight the process. In this, grooming is much like a visit to the veterinarian – some animals enjoy it more than others. We take our time helping each pet feel as comfortable as possible, loving on them every step of the way. It takes training and practice to know how to read a pet and to minimize anxiety. Bring in your newly adopted pet (with adoption papers) and receive a free grooming! We take the mission implied in our cornerstones very seriously. We believe strongly that adopting a pet, while very satisfying for us, it is in fact Saving A Life. A shelter pet is more than one in a million—they are one in 2.7 million. That’s the number of adoptable dogs and cats who are still euthanized each year in the United States, simply because too many pets come into shelters and too few people adopt. The number of euthanized animals could be reduced dramatically, if more people adopted pets, instead of buying them. When you adopt, you save a life and open up shelter space for another animal who might need it. Thank you for saving a life and Showing em Love.
