What Animal Care Center of Castle Pines Is Doing to Help the Medical Profession during Covid-19
Members of the veterinary community are making a difference.
The Animal Care Center of Castle Pines is doing its part to assist our human cohorts during the COVID 19 pandemic crisis. We continue to donate a portion of our personal protection equipment including gloves, shoe covers, and surgical masks to our local hospitals and health care providers. In response to our local hospitals' need for life-support ventilators, we have registered our ventilator and anesthesia machines with the Colorado Health Department and National Guard. In the event our human emergency and critical care facilities experience a shortage with their ventilators, ours will be picked up and used by a local hospital. As we hear the tragic news of people dying because there's not a ventilator available, it makes us want to be a part of the solution and provide as much help as possible.
Life has been TOUGH these last few weeks. But one thing is for sure, PETS HELP GET US THROUGH. We remain committed as a veterinary profession to continue to work during this crisis in order to keep pets healthy and ensure the human-animal bond not only survives through this, but thrives through this!
