Dr. Heidi Servi started her career in veterinary medicine after graduating as a Certified Veterinary Technician in 1996 in Champaign, Illinois.
She worked with 3 board certified veterinary surgeons for 6 years in a Chicago suburb and during this time became interested in canine mobility, rehabilitation and pain management. In 2001, she became certified in veterinary massage and rehabilitation through the Healing Oasis & Wellness Center in Wisconsin and helped start a new business focused on canine rehabilitation which is still thriving to this day.
Dr. Servi elected to pursue further education and graduated with a B.S in Biology from the University of Wisconsin in 2003 followed by her DVM in 2008. After graduating from veterinary school she worked primary as an emergency medicine veterinarian after completing a 1 year critical care internship in Wisconsin.
Since moving to Colorado, Dr. Servi’s primary focus has been canine rehabilitation and pain management. Most recently, she became certified in veterinary spinal manipulative therapy and is excited to expand services to equine patients as well. Certification in acupuncture through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society is pending submission of case studies.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with her wife and twin teenage boys, 2 dogs and 4 cats. Vegetarian/vegan cooking, hot yoga and camping in Colorado are her favorite ways to recharge.
