Dr. Angela Everett - Veterinarian

Dr. Angela Everett started her undergraduate work as a math major because she loves logic and it came naturally to her in school.

During her third year, however, she found herself missing the connection to animals and people and started volunteering at local animal shelters and rescues.

It was there that Dr. Everett found her true calling and shifted her undergraduate degree to pursue veterinary medicine. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, the top veterinary school in the world.

Dr. Everett’s core philosophy is a partnership between her and the pet parents she works with and believes that there is no "one size fits all" plan for every pet. She takes the time and effort to provide the best care for each individual pet in their unique environment.

Dr. Everett elected to participate in two externships specifically focused on dermatology and created her own rotation at UC Davis for Dermatopathology, which is the study of skin and mass biopsies. During that time she developed a strong professional interest and expertise in dermatology. Dr. Everett continues to spend her off-hours doing extra training in the management of chronic skin disease and recently traveled to Bordeaux, France to attend the 8th World Congress of Veterinary Dermatology, which is the largest veterinary dermatology meeting in the world.

Dr. Everett also has special interests in preventative medicine, anesthesia, and radiology. She is a champion for decreasing patient stress at the veterinary hospital. She utilizes low-stress and friendly handling techniques to make her patients as comfortable as possible.
