Dr. Anastasya Carbon - Veterinarian

${name}

Dr. Anastasya (Ana) Carbon graduated from California State University of Long Beach with a B.S. in Biology prior to attending Colorado State University for veterinary school.

She graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2013.

Following graduation, Dr. Carbon went on to complete a year-long rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Southern California Veterinary Specialty Hospital in Orange County. There, she worked with specialists from multiple different fields and gained a trove of experience in internal medicine, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, cardiology, neurology, emergency & critical care medicine, and ophthalmology. Dr. Carbon had fallen in love with Colorado during her time in vet school and, following completion of her internship, she eagerly returned to our lovely state.

She has been practicing in the Denver Metro area since 2014 and joined the team at Animal Care Center of Castle Pines in 2016. Dr. Carbon has a special interest in soft tissue and laparoscopic surgery, advanced dentistry, wellness and preventive care, and pain management. She is currently our Director of Surgical Services and strives to ensure that our surgery and dentistry departments provide the most up-to-date and highest standard of care for our patients.

In her free time Dr. Carbon enjoys playing ice hockey (Go Avs!), snowboarding, paddle boarding, yoga, and hiking.
