Dr. Jonathan T. Quint grew up in the great state of Montana where his interests in veterinary medicine developed at an early age. During his elementary school years, the rescuing of baby birds from fallen nests every spring launched his desire to help any animal in need of assistance. He even went so far as to dive into a Montana river to save a drowning moose calf (in hindsight, not the most brilliant move as the mother moose was just upstream and the river was cold!). Everything worked out ok as he carried the baby to the edge of the woods where the mother could retrieve it.
Dr. Quint attended college in Pennsylvania at Franklin & Marshall College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Economics. He then attended Montana State University in preparation for veterinary school. He obtained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University in 1997. After a brief 8 months of small animal practice in Kalispell, Montana, he returned to beautiful Colorado where he has resided to this day.
Dr. Quint has practiced in the Castle Rock area since early 1998 and his interests lie with soft-tissue and laparoscopic surgery, and dentistry. He is excited to be a part of the Animal Care Center of Castle Pines, where state-of-the art medicine and surgery will be emphasized. He is pleased to be working with a wonderful staff, in this facility.
Dr. Quint lives in Elizabeth, Colorado, with his two beautiful daughters, and a Golden Retriever. His leisure time is spent fly fishing, hiking, cycling and hopefully more time in the air as he continues his passion for flying.
